David Kelly - the unofficial biography
David Kelly has been working in the Internet services arena since 1995. His core skills are database programming and system design.
Bridging the gap between business requirements and technical capacity is one of David's specialities, he's worked with companies throughout Ireland the UK and USA, helping to captitalise on their IPR and delivering proof-of-concept solutions as well as full end to end applications for a diverse range of clients.
For the few years, David focused on developing xml based applications integrated with the Agility platform, which provide a very powerful technique for designing robust and flexible business applications.
David lives in Fanore, Co. Clare in the Caher Valley nature reserve, along with two dogs, some chickens, a couple of ducks, his partner; Jennifer, and their children, Jessica and Christopher and Robyn (don't ask). He commutes for ten minutes each day and feels that "even that is too much!".
He's a keen diver, walker and sci-fi movie buff but also likes to cause excruciating noises with his guitar - which he actually thinks he can play...
He recently signed up with the local Surf School and has been promoted and is now proud to wear a large red 'L' plate.
