Bothar nA hAillite, is a purpose built self-catering chalet owned by a young couple who wanted to provide short and long term lets in the village of Fanore, Co. Clare.

Beautifully situated overlooking Galway bay the chalet is a mile from the village of Fanore with stunning views over Galway bay and the Aran Islands.

Our website design brief for this project was quite straightforward.

• Provide a way for the client to showcase the beauty of the surroundings
• Enable visitors to make booking enquiries
• Facilitate our client who wished to be able to quickly and easily build links to the information that visitors to the area would need
• Ensure that the site was optimised for search engine visibility and easy for users to navigate

We decied to utilise AJAX and simple javascript to enable users to quickly zoom in on images without requiring any preloading of the images.

This means that the client can upload high quality images that can be seen via a thumbnail gallery, without adding significant overhead to download times.

All of the content displayed on the website is managed via the Agility content management system.

This requires minimal technical skill and is ideal for clients wishing to focus what little spare time is available, to ensuring that they can publish the information they want to place online as quickly as possible.

In addition we integrated SMS messaging on the site so that when visitors submit queries via the contact page, an SMS alert is sent to ensure that the visitor's query is dealt with as efficiently as possible.
