Website Design Brief for Fruit and Vine
David Llewellyn's orchard and vinyard in Lusk, Co. Dublin produces award winning fruits such as apples, pears, grapes and strawberries as well as Cider, Vinegar and even Wine.
When he first contacted us we were amazed to find out that you can actually grow grapes and produce wine here in Ireland.
David wanted to develop a simple website that would provide him with an effective tool for communicating with his huge customer base that he has built up over the years through word of mouth and hie regular stints at farmer's markets.
We were delighted to be selected as his web development partners and produced a website model that enables him to quickly and easily publish information about his activities & new products that he is producing ( try the ice cream !)
We have designed his website model to facilitate growth, in particular, using the agility framework and content management system, David can publish recipes, create shortcuts on the home page, integrate YouTube video clips, link to his twitter account and enable people to share pages via facebook.
Over time we expect that David's site will be a hugely popular resource for lovers of fresh, naturally produced fruits, drinks and dressings such as balsamic vinegar.
The website was launched in June 2010 and we wish David every success in the future.
