Design Portfolio: Park Magic
ParkMagic provide a fantastic solution for managing muncipal parking requirements. Customers purchase an in-car display unit which they can then top-up using their mobile phone or online via the web site that Fanore Software designed. The in-car display unit can be viewed by traffic wardens who can immediately establish that the customer has paid for the parking.
This project makes use of web services to query a range of IVR and accounts databases in order to authenticate customers and facilitate online top-ups of their parking credits. Most of the customers using this interface are based in the USA and the webservice produced by Fanore Software, ensures that back office functions can be managed efficiently both in Ireland and the US.
