Design Portfolio: Ink 4 Europe
Ink4Europe supply great value ink and toner cartridges to the UK and Irish market. Our website design brief for this project required that we create an easy to navigate commerce site that allowed consumers to find products which were compatible with a wide range of printing devices. We approached this by creating cross references between printer manufacturers, printer models and ink and toner cartridges. This gave the team at Ink4Europe the flexibility to provide their customers with a range of products suitable for the printing device.
The web site is designed using ASP (Active Server Pages) running on the Agility framework for commerce which we developed for precisely this type of a business to consumer sales model. The client has full control over pricing, stock and currency options, enabling them to provide pricing to the UK (sterling) and Irish (Euro) marketplace. Credit card capture is performed using RealEx Payments who provide payment services for a number of our commerce clients.
