Glenvane House Website Design
This beautifully appointed home in Fanore, Co. Clare has stunning views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. The owners wished to make this home available as a holiday rental for families and groups looking for a comfortable retreat.
Our website design brief was to create a web site that would allow us to showcase the house using high quality images which would provide visitors with an insight into the quality and size of the property as well as enabling visitors to see the fantastic views available.
We designed the site to use a gallery of highly optmised images which would cycle automatically as the visitor navigated the content menu. A mix of AJAX & Dynamic html was used to create the gallery, with JQuery as the underlying javascript library. This has resulted in users being able to navigate and view all content, whilst still being able to see the images which are presented in a seperate cycle. the content panel is slightly translucent so as not to detract from the beautiful images taken by our in-hosue photographer.
This model would be very suitable for presenting information which relies heavily on images and which is light on textual narratives and has proven very successful for the owners of Glenvane House.
