Web Design Brief for Fanore Holiday Cottages

Located in the beautiful village of Fanore, Co. Clare, the owners of Fanore Holiday Cottages, Anne & John, asked us to redesign their web site to make it more contemporary and to enable them to quickly update the site and manage their search engine optimisation tasks without needing to use FTP or HTML coding.

Presenting a range of images of the locality was of key importance in the web design brief for this project. With so much material to work with we decided to use an animated banner area that presents a series of images to give visitors a taste of what to expect.

Anne was also wanted to enable potential visitors to plan their stay, she achieved this by creating a series of useful links to sites in the area, visitors can find out where to eat, what sort of activities there are and much more.

Since Anne & John are very busy with a range of day to day activities, they wanted to be alerted the moment a visitor made a booking enquiry, we facilitated this by sending a text message using SMS whenever the booking form is submitted, this has proven to be a very useful feature since they don’t have to monitor email in order to quickly respond to visitor queries.
