Website Design Brief for The Morris Tribunal

The Morris Tribunal (the full title is "The Tribunal of Inquiry into complaints concerning some Gardai of the Donegal Division") approached Fanore Software to develop a basic information site that the tribunal team could use to publish regular updates to witness lists, statements and transcripts of the tribunal proceedings.

A key requirements was that the content management system be easy to use and accessible to a range of users. Agility, a website content management framework that we developed in-house fit the bill perfectly. Using Agility, populating and maintaining the site with new narrative text and encrypted transcript files became a simple exercise that was managed entirely by Tribunal staff.

The tribunal completed it's work in 2009 and required a copy of the site in CD format; we produced the CD copy and placed a static image of the web site online for archive purposes. General feedback to the site was extremely positive as many people required access to the detail of the tribunal's findings and reports. You can view the archived version of the web site here.
